Andrew Torres is an illustrator for many of the most popular PostScript Brooklyn suites. His first drawing for Lion in the Sun was the Brooklyn Bridge for his own wedding invitations. The popularity of the design led to requests for illustrations of other New York scenes. Inspired by a lifelong interest in architecture, his work features exquisite details and captures the vibrancy of the city. Andrew can also be heard talking about these streets and bridges, reporting traffic evenings on 1010 WINS radio.
Foxy and Winston
British born Illustrator and Screen Printer Jane Buck established Foxy & Winston in 2005 in a tiny room of her Park Slope Apartment. Five years on she has a charming Shop/Studio space in the waterfront neighborhood of Red Hook where she creates and sells her work, along with a small selection of products made by friends and people she she admires most. Jane's ideas are generally drawn from nature and the creatures she meets on her travels. Each design is hand-drawn in the form of a silhouette, then individually screen printed using the finest Swiss pigments onto recycled Paper Goods, Organic Apparel and Home Goods.
Graphic Artist Karen Van Every began designing wedding invitations in 2002 when she had the opportunity of creating invites for her own wedding. From there, she launched her company, Serimony, in the hopes of creating unique designs for other couples. Her goal is creating designs that are meaningful for the bride and groom. She's inspired by the chaotic beauty of nature, along with the structured lines of urban architecture.

The Moontree Letterpress print shop originated in Brooklyn, New York in the historic DUMBO waterfront district. All work is handmade in our small artisan studio. We are inspired by the beauty in the natural world and we use these themes in our designs. The work reflects the craftsmanship, care and attention we pay to each piece of letterpress.
Linda & Harriett
Linda & Harriett is a project-based design company known for its fresh designs and use of color. For her invitation work, designer Liz Libré likes to mix the fine quality of letterpress printing with a more casual-elegant approach to design. The resulting combination is both high end and laid back - setting an ideal tone for any special event.
Lion in the Sun
Lion in the Sun of Park Slope opened for business in 2002 as a Brooklyn neighborhood paperie. Since then, we've worked closely with many couples creating unique Brooklyn and New York City themed wedding invitations and have developed a reputation for outstanding custom design work. We're proud to be featuring these suites with original artwork created by our talented design team, including former Creative Director, Mallory Larson.
The Nic Studio
The Nic Studio offers wedding invitations unlike any you've seen before. An illustrator as well as a designer, artist Nicole Block brings her unique perspective to every piece. Quirky and fun, refined and smart, Nic is so very Brooklyn.
Ella is a Brooklyn-based illustrator and designer who counts Shel Silverstein and Edward Gorey among her many influences. As a member of the Lion in the Sun team since 2011, she has drawn many cats, dogs, giraffes, flowers, buildings, and even Chewbacca once for our quirky and creative clientele. (She is holding out for someone to commission a fully Harry Potter wedding suite and has already called dibs on it.)
